Nikita and Chas are cousins. Charlie is Chas's dad. We are a family; an eighth generation family of Vermont. Nikita's side of the family has been in the maple industry for a long time. Nikita now owns his own sugarbush in Underhill, Vermont with 12,000 tapped Maple trees. Chas and Charlie own a small sugarbush in Underhill as well and have been crafting maple sap drinks for years. We decided it was time to turn our hobby into a business and to share our special products.

Sap! products are non-alcoholic beverages made from 100% pure maple sap straight from the maple trees of Vermont. Our Maple Sap! Soda and Maple Sap! Seltzer are great alternatives to sugar-sweetened beverages. Sap! is about more than just satisfying a craving. It’s also about tradition. Our products make the time-honored tradition of the maple harvest accessible to everyone, while supporting Vermont’s working landscape and rural economy.
Every spring, the transition from freezing nights to thawing days triggers the flow of sap within the mighty maple tree. Once a tree is tapped, maple sap comes out of the tree looking like water and has a subtly sweet taste. But sap is so much more than just H20.
Maple sap and birch sap also naturally contain some great benefits for human consumption. Maple sap has 46 naturally occurring nutrients and naturally is low-glycemic. Birch sap is high in manganese is known as a health tonic in cultures throughout Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, and Northern Asia. And one more thing, harvesting sap is a sustainable practice that does not harm the tree.
